Set within a grand Georgian terrace in Belsize Park Gardens, this entrance-level apartment was reimagined to restore balance, proportion and flow. Over time, the flat had been awkwardly subdivided, with principal rooms repurposed and circulation compromised. Our redesign reinstated the logic and generosity of the original layout while tailoring it for contemporary living - transforming the front principal room into a calm master suite with bespoke joinery commissioned by the client and a refined ensuite, and the rear principal room into a light-filled living space centred around a curved, fluted kitchen island. Reinstated mouldings, layered lighting and crafted detailing bring coherence and warmth, celebrating the apartment’s elegant Georgian character.
