This Moderne-style extension, located in the Eltham Palace Conservation Area, enhances the home with a discreetly integrated utility and downstairs bathroom. The design continues the language of the original house — including its distinctive zinc-clad butterfly roof — reinterpreted through contemporary timber and metal detailing in place of the old side gates. Every decision was made to complement, not compete, ensuring the new addition sits comfortably within its architectural and historic context. Recognised by the Royal Borough of Greenwich for its high-quality, in-keeping design, this home now blends Moderne character with modern-day comfort.
